Classic ‘country farmhouse’ meets ‘industrial chic' in 10th Street Country, a spacious three-bedroom home in the effervescent neighbourhood of the East Village. Renowned for its buzzing nightlife, you’ll uncover a whole host of classy cocktail spots, old-school bars, and trendy eateries as you make your way along its busy streets. Come daytime, amble across legendary Tompkins Square Park past the many vintage shops and boutiques which offer a chance for some well-deserved retail therapy or the perfect NY bagel.
But, before you head out and explore your new surroundings, it’s time to make yourself at home at 10th Street Country. Within, the huge open-plan dining & living room boasts a beguiling blend of classic gold-framed portraits, exposed brick walls, antique china-filled chests, and rustic wooden beams - along with a cosy collection of sofas and chairs to unwind in. This site has been the location for many film shoots.
Illuminated by the natural sunlight pouring through the home’s custom/oversized traditional sash windows, this brightly lit space is a design lover’s dream with artwork and enjoyable books everywhere. It’s here that you’ll also find the fully stocked kitchen and natural polished concrete counter area, complete with a breakfast bar and bespoke designer dining table for when you just feel like staying in and enjoying a relaxed evening of dinner and drinks together.
Make your way along the book-lined corridor and classic loft beams and you’ll find the second sitting room, providing yet another sophisticated space to watch a film on the large flat screen, or snuggle down with a good book. The airy second bedroom is close by, offering a king-sized Tempur-Pedic bed and can double up as an office - with a lengthy desk space for those planning on working from home.
Further down the corridor is the master bedroom, boasting a Tempur-Pedic king-sized bed, and in the corner a tempting writing table surrounded by six large windows flooded with light, for your silent sanctuary. The third bedroom has a queen-sized Temper-Pedic bed, ample shelving, and adjoins a bathroom with a huge tub and separate rain shower tiled in vintage marble.
