Sakai is a city famous for producing knives and tools hand-made by skilled blacksmiths –revered by many from both past and present– and is the birthplace of Sen Rikyu, a Japanese tea master.
Explore this historically-rich city, and experience a nostalgic past as you listen to the faint sounds of a streetcar running along the streets. Although the exterior boasts a minimalistic & modern architecture, a step inside of SAKAINOMA Nishiki will transport you to a distinctively traditional lifestyle of Sakai.
