This utterly fabulous two bed mews house in Notting Hill is an architectural feat and can sleep up to 4 people.
As you enter the property you are met by a welcoming and well lit mirrored hallway with stairs leading up to the main section of the house and two bedrooms directly in front of you. The master bedroom with its generous king-size bed has been designed with a minimal style in mind, categorised by crisp white walls and splashes of colour from the contemporary artwork decorating the walls. Integral white wardrobes line one side of the walls which provide ample storage for guests. Off this room is a modern ensuite bathroom which has been finished to a high standard with sleek black tiles on the walls and shiny new fixtures. There is also both a bath and walk-in shower. The colourful second bedroom is situated next door to the master and has a double bed and Aztec inspired rug in the centre of the room. This room also has an ensuite bathroom with both a shower and a separate bath. Leading on upstairs is the pièce de resistance of the property; a large open plan living area which encompasses both the living room, dining room and kitchen. This space is entirely unique, with ceilings reaching to the rafters and striking contemporary artwork hanging suspended from the great heights. Oak floorboards pave the entire living space and a large wooden dining table is the perfect space for an impromptu dinner party. The kitchen with a black painted accent wall and an extremely sleek black fitted kitchen has all the modern amenities you could possibly need. Stainless steel worktops, a large range cooker and a dishwasher complete the space with plenty of space for preparing food. Enclosed within a small space behind the stairs is a study area and if you follow the brass and black steel designer staircase to the top there is the second study area with panoramic views out over the entire property.

Notting Hill is one of the most sought-after areas to stay and this property is located a mere 10 minute walk from Portobello Road with its famous everyday market which is always bustling and vibrant where you will find all sorts including vintage clothing, antiques and fresh foods. There are so many fantastic restaurants and stylish cafés on Portobello Road too such as rustic Pizza East, Jamie Oliver’s Recipease and Negozio Classica -a rustic wine bar with a delicious Tuscan menu. This part of London was also where the Notting Hill Carnival originated and where much of the movie ‘Notting Hill’ was filmed. If you’re after buzz and bustle, head to up to Notting Hill Gate with its extensive variety of up market restaurants, bars, pubs, cafes and shops along Westbourne Terrace.
Area:
Notting Hill is a cosmopolitan district known for its summer carnival and perhaps more famously, Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts in 'that' movie. It has a contemporary reputation as a fashionable and affluent area, known for attractive terraces of large Victorian townhouses, high-end retail and restaurants - perfect for families of all sizes and ages.
The pastel-coloured homes are as iconic to London as Big Ben, and Portobello Market is a classically British attraction. With stalls of antiques, jewellery, furs, fresh street food and often performers amid the upmarket shops, this in an area which must be visited. Refuel in one of the charming cafes with a cappuccino and some artisan treats, or perhaps choose one of the many restaurants for an impressive dining experience. For cinema with a difference, the Electric Cinema offers leather armchairs, footstools and cashmere blankets.
Nearby Westbourne Grove is the perfect spot for some shopping and brunch at Nicole Farhi's 202 which comprises both café and fashion boutique. The area has also had an association with artists and 'alternative' culture for some time with Notting Hill Arts Club a 'muso' favourite. Its cultural diversity, proximity to central London and large family homes make it a prime location for a stylish stay for all the family.
