The heart of the flat is the huge staircase, solid yet light-looking: the‘floating’steps and the landings of metal grating allow the light into the apartment, from the hallway (on the second floor) up to the verandah (on the fourth floor).

The apartment is on three floors, from the 2nd to the 4th. Extremely quiet, it is also very bright, since it has 16 windows (double and triple) and a verandah on the fourth floor, completely made of glass and with full exposure.

What makes this apartment stand out: the iron and Wenge staircase connecting the three floors; a Karst stone bathroom; a steel kitchen with island and pull-out kitchen trolleys; two works of art of olive wood and some contemporary paintings.

The property opens onto the hallway, on the second floor. Two staircases lead upstairs, to the third floor, which also comprises a big living room, furnished with three sofas - one of them is a French size sofa bed - a bed chair, a TV set, a fully-fitted open plan kitchen with island - to be also used as table for 4 people - a crystal table with a wrought-iron foot seating up to 8 people, and an English dresser.

The night area is composed of a first bedroom with a double bed, a writing desk and an external wadrobe; a second bedroom with a single bed, bookcase and another external wardrobe; a third bedroom with two single beds, a 2-door closet and a writing desk.

There are three bathrooms: a first full bathroom with tub and double basin; a second full bathroom with tub (it can also be used as shower); a third guest bathroom, only with basin and toilet.

Two flights of stairs lead upstairs, to the verandah on the fourth floor, which is furnished with a billiard table, a chaise longue and a writing desk. From the verandah you enter the big terrace.

The apartment has both Wenge parquet and resin flooring. It also comes with double glazed windows and air conditioning.

For safety reasons children are not allowed.

The building is provided with an elevator to reach the second floor, where you will find the entrance of the apartment (but there isn't the elevator inside the apartment).

Location:

The apartment is located moments from Milan city centre, in a very strategic position to reach Via Ripamonti, Lodi and Brenta subway stops (yellow line MM3).

At about 350 meters you find a big Esselunga supermarket, whilst the tramway 24 connects to the subway stop Crocetta, both the Maggiore-Policlinico and the Mangiagalli hospitals, and the Milan court of justice.

At 1,5 km is the famous Bocconi university, one of the most prestigious private universities in Milan; also the IED, the European School of Design, is in the immediate vicinity.

In Via Ripamonti you find several restaurants, bars, some banks, a pharmacy and a New Life fitness centre.

Public transportation:

The closest subway stops are Lodi and Brenta (10 minutes to Duomo square), yellow line MM3. Both are at 1,5 km (about 20 minutes on foot).

In Via Ripamonti you can also take tramway 24 (15 minutes to Duomo square).
