Once the home of Raphael (who lived here while painting his masterpieces at the nearby Apostolic Palace), this centuries-old home is as artistic as ever. Entering at street level, you’ll find the third bedroom to the left, which has contemporary paintings and a king-size bed. There’s a giant tapestry in the sitting room, to the right, as well as a pair of anvils that double as eye-catching chairs. In the garden, straight ahead of the entrance, you’ll find ivied walls and a dining table for twelve.
There’s a bathroom just off the sitting room, and up the spiral staircase is the second sitting room, with modern artwork and colourful retro furnishings. The ornately carved dining table is made of Belgian marble, and next door you’ll find another dining table in the large kitchen. Up again are the final two bedrooms – both with ensuites. To the left, the second bedroom has a king-size bed, and to the right, there’s a row of vintage paintings in the master bedroom, along with a vaulted ceiling and a super king bed.
