Get some much-needed quiet time at this new house, one of our most comfortable holiday villas in France. Located in Alpilles Natural Park, a small mountain range known as the birthplace for many of Provence’s writers and artists, including Vincent Van Gogh, this private estate has space for up to 10 guests (11 can be accommodated upon request).

At La Nouvelle, you’ll find plenty to do in the backyard: a heated swimming pool with accessories and games, a ping pong table, sun chairs for soaking up some rays and a garden to get lost in, complete with olive trees and lavender bushes. The property is perfect for entertaining—fire up some kebobs or hamburgers on the summer kitchen’s barbecue, and then invite your friends and family to dine al fresco at the outdoor dining area before settling in for a glass of wine out on the terrace’s open-air living room.

The indoor living space is nicely decorated with modern chic accents and furnishings, including leather sofas sitting next to a contemporary fireplace and flat screen TV. French doors open up to the garden, while the nearby kitchen comes fully equipped with appliances like an American fridge, freezer, ice maker and dishwasher. There is an ample amount of counter space, including a breakfast bar for a quick bite to eat.

Expect a good night’s sleep inside Villa La Nouvelle’s four bedrooms. Two double rooms could work as master suites—one boasts an outside door and ensuite bathroom with a private tub, while the other faces south and features a spectacular view of the Alpilles hill and a private ensuite with a shower. The other bedrooms are both outfitted with three single beds.

Outside of the property, Alpilles Natural Park offers many excellent hiking trails for nature lovers, or if you are in the mood to shop, the boutiques and market of the village of Eygalieres is just 500 meters away.
