Villa Artemisia is an attractive two level country house located only 12 miles from Florence, set amidst a

private estate of four hectares. The villa features a beautiful swimming pool (6,000 sq. ft.), shared with its discrete owners, a fairytale garden with fruit trees and scented herbs, and an inviting patio for al fresco dining.This true Tuscan home has its own waterfall in walking distance.

The open floor plan adopted on this floor creates a cohesive space with a living and dining room and a quaint kitchen with island. The use of color and texture create a dynamic neutral area. The living room features a beautiful fireplace; its upper portion also serves as a screen for the video projector available at guests’disposal.

The extensive swimming pool (6,000 sq. ft., accessed by a ladder) is one level up from the house, approximately 20 steps up from the patio, and is surrounded by a lovely gazebo, comfortable chaise lounges, umbrellas and tables. The garden and the swimming pool, including its surrounding area, are shared with the owners who live in their nearby villa.

Villa Artemisia is a very romantic accommodation thanks to its magical garden and nature paths. The original architectural features remain present with the typical stone walls, small windows (the perfect natural insulation system for the summer) and the beamed ceilings. A renowned 18-hole golf course is nearby, ideal for golf-lovers. The train station, perfect for day trips to Florence, is located less than five miles away. The particular villa’s layout and grounds are not suitable for young children and elderly people.
