Situated in the South Pacific Ocean, 700kmNE of Sydney, Australia, Lord Howe Island is a small, breathtakingly beautifulisland, just 11km long and 2.8km at its widest point. Lord Howe Island has 300 permanentresidents with visitors limited to 400 at any one time. The island remainsunspoilt with around 75% of the island preserved as permanent national andmarine park.
