Cancellation Policy
Cancellation within 30-60 days of arrival date: 50% forfeit of the total booking price. Cancellation within 30 days of arrival date: 100% forfeit of the total booking price. Any change in the number of bedrooms/guests, shortening of stay, or alteration of check-in dates for any reason will be considered a cancellation and will be subject to the cancellation policy. Any handling fees or exchange rate differences incurred due to cancellation shall be borne by the guest.

Each of the 15 elevated luxury tents offers unparalleled privateviews of the outback icon and contemporary interiors fuse local indigenousartworks and artefacts with an homage to an early Australian pioneer orexplorer. Meticulously designed to remain cool in summer and warm in winter,the spacious dwellings comprise lavish king or twin beds, floor to ceiling windowsfor viewing the dramatic sunrise and sunset, complimentary in-suite bar, iPadwith entertainment and MP3 input, wireless internet, spacious bathroom withbathrobes and premium amenities, climate control, safe, telephone and twicedaily housekeeping including signature turn down service. The semi-arid climate ofthe Uluru region makes for great travelling conditions. Warm, sunny days withminimal rainfall are the norm for much of the year, allowing enjoyment of thestunning desert landscapes and rock formations. Typical desert weather patternsmake for reasonable fluctuations in temperature between day and night. Duringthe summer months, average temperatures range from 35°C during the day to 18°C overnight. In thewinter months, the average daytime temperature is 22°Cand 0°C overnight.

The Dune House

The Dune House is astunning and convivial meeting place for lounging, relaxing and swappingstories of desert discoveries with other guests. Situated in the middle of thecamp site, a spectacular panorama of the extraordinary landscape provides adramatic backdrop for savouring sumptuous outback fare in the Dune HouseRestaurant. Also beneath the canopy roof, a library complete with impressivecollection of books, maps, historical literature and other artefacts enablingguests to trace the paths of those legendary explorers and enhance personaldiscoveries of Australia’s Red Centre. Acomprehensive movie and game library is also available. Adjacent to the DuneHouse, an outdoor swimming pool with terrace is an oasis amongst the sanddunes, inviting refreshment and total immersion in the pristine surroundings.

Longitude 131° offers the best of contemporary Australian cuisine, celebrating afusion of modern and indigenous flavours. The daily changing menu emphasisesfresh, quality produce to mirror the tranquil, spiritual surrounds – bush tucker at its best. Elegant interiors and personal serviceensure a memorable dining experience. The resort’srelaxed bar is open all day in the Dune House. The self service bar iscomprehensively stocked with a quality selection of Australian wines, spirits,champagnes and Australian and imported beers. Longitude 131° is located on a secluded sand dune close to the boundary of theUluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Air Only three hours’flight from most Australian capital cities, regular flights are available toAyers Rock Airport (AYQ). Virgin Australia operates daily flights directly toAyers Rock Airport from Sydney (SYD). Jetstar (Qantas code share) also fliesdirectly to Ayers Rock Airport daily from Sydney; flights from Melbourneoperate on selected days. Qantas operates daily flights to Ayers Rock Airportvia Alice Springs (ASP) from Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Darwin. Qantasalso offers direct daily flights from Cairns (CNS) and Alice Springs (ASP). Allthree airlines provide connecting flights from most major domesticdestinations. For those guests travelling between Longitude 131° and sister property Southern Ocean Lodge, Qantas operate anexcellent daily service from Ayers Rock (AYR) via Alice Springs (ASP) toAdelaide (ADL) with air connections to Kingscote (KGC) Kangaroo Island viaRegional Express. What to Bring

Reflecting the easy-goingnature of the outback, dress is relaxed at Longitude 131°. Humidity is low in the arid Red Centre; days are sunny and can behot, with cooler nights that can become quite crisp and cold in winter. Solidwalking shoes, comfortable casual clothes and some layers of warmer clothes iftravelling in the cooler months are recommended. Hat and sunscreen areessential year round. A camera and keen sense of adventure are a must!
