laborious restoration revealing to guests and the local

Formerly home of Beatrice Portinari - Dante Muse - and later
the residence of Cosimo I - Grand Duke of Tuscany - the
Palace did not assume its current architectural form until
1456 - when it was bought by Jacopo Salviati - husband of
Lucrezia de Medici - daughter of the famous Lorenzo the
Magnificent.
