Creative guidance has come from renowned designer Russell Sage and award winning architect Ben Addy with leading international artists creating specially commissioned artworks for the interiors. The bedrooms and suites are split into six categories. The Royal Suites are inspired by some of Braemars most noble visitors. Our Victoriana Suites reflect the hotels history as a 19th century coaching inn. Scottish Culture Rooms are inspired by Scotlands leading figures in fields such as science and the arts. Nature and Poetry Rooms feature artwork and objects made from natural materials such as heather - horn and tweed to reflect the grandeur of the Scottish natural landscape. Croft Rooms are inspired by a traditional Scottish croft house and feature a charming - traditional cabin bed. Artists Studio is a one-off accommodation that offers stunning views over the surrounding landscape that is sure to inspire and delight. The spectacular restaurant - The Clunie Dining Room uses local seasonal produce to serve traditional Scottish cuisine. The Flying Stag is our public bar and a place where residents and visitors will rub shoulders. It offers honest fayre - real ales - a selection of over 120 whiskies and live entertainment. The cocktail bar - Elsas has been created in honour of the iconic fashion designer - Elsa Schiaparelli who was a regular visitor to Braemar. With an interior inspired by her love of shocking pink Elsas is the perfect place for a pre-dinner aperitif or a post-dinner nightcap. Braemar has a very rich historical heritage and is famous all over the world for its annual Highland games also known as the Braemar Gathering.
